Warner Springs Wine Tour

Warner Springs wineSitting at an elevation of just over 3,000 feet, Warner Springs, about 45 minutes southeast of Temecula, has an ideal climate for growing wine grapes. This area is home to some wonderful wineries that have a unique charm. Hawk Watch Winery has been around for six years now. Mike and Lisa Schnell welcome you to their charming tasting room where you will enjoy elegant whites, a rosé and some bold, but finessed reds. Tony Tiso welcomes you to his father’s home and La Serenissima, the most serene. Tony will give you a full tour of his operation, will take you into his cellar where you will taste samples from different barrels and treat you like a member of the family. Pam and Alex McGeary  are right down the street at Shadow Mountain, where they offer a beautiful setting and wonderful wines. A stop for lunch (not included in the price) at County Line BBQ is highly recommended. Jacqu and Debbie are your hosts and Jacqu will prepare standard bbq fare for you, or you can be adventuresome and try elk, pheasant, rabbit or wild boar brats or other interesting game.

Rates are $140 per person and include your tasting fees and pickup and drop-off in the Temecula area.
